Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account details: name, email address, mobile number, password hash, preferred language, and account status.
• Booking details: selected sports center, date, time slot, number of players, booking status, cancellation/refund status, and support history.
• Payment details: payment amount, payment status, Razorpay payment/order identifiers, refund references, and settlement-related records. We do not store full card, UPI PIN, or banking credentials.
• Device and app details: device type, browser/WebView information, IP address, app authentication tokens, push notification device tokens, and basic diagnostics used to keep the app working.
• Communications: in-app notifications, support tickets, booking reminders, WhatsApp messages you opt into or that are required for service updates, and email/SMS/OTP records.
• Location/search context: city, selected location, sports center location, and optional location-based search context where enabled by your device permissions.

2. How we use information

• Create and secure your account, authenticate login, and prevent unauthorized access.
• Show sports centers, calculate prices, manage bookings, holds, cancellations, refunds, memberships, passes, coupons, and owner updates.
• Process online payments through Razorpay and reconcile booking/payment status.
• Send service notifications such as confirmations, owner-approved changes, payment alerts, pass approvals, reminders, and support replies.
• Improve app performance, investigate bugs, prevent abuse/fraud, comply with law, and maintain accurate financial records.

3. Sharing and processors

• Sports center owners receive booking details needed to honor and manage your booking.
• Razorpay processes online payments and may receive payment-related details needed to complete a transaction.
• Notification and communication providers may process push, email, SMS, OTP, or WhatsApp delivery data.
• We may disclose records when required by law, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, tax/accounting, or platform safety.
• We do not sell your personal information.

4. Payments

Online payments are for real-world sports center bookings and related offline services. Razorpay handles payment collection. Turfio stores payment status, transaction references, amount, refund/settlement references, and reconciliation data needed to confirm bookings and support owners.

5. Retention

• Active account data is kept while your account is active.
• Booking, invoice, payment, refund, tax, dispute, and fraud-prevention records may be retained as legally or operationally required.
• Authentication tokens and device tokens are removed or disabled when you logout, delete your account, or when they expire.
• Support records are retained as needed to resolve issues and maintain safety/compliance history.

6. Account deletion and user choices

• You can update profile information from your Profile page.
• You can delete your account from Delete Account. Deletion disables login, removes active sessions/device tokens, and anonymizes the active profile.
• Some booking/payment records may remain where required for accounting, legal, refund, settlement, or dispute purposes.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, session protections, password hashing, access controls, and operational monitoring. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and reduce risk.

8. Children

Turfio is intended for users who can lawfully make sports bookings or use the service with consent from a parent/guardian. We do not knowingly sell personal information or target children with ads.

9. Updates

We may update this policy when our product, legal obligations, or store requirements change. The effective date above shows the latest version.
